HP K6-2+ Notebook Shipping

"The HP Pavilion N3295 and N3215 notebook PCs offer HP retail customers a choice of platforms -- an Intel© Pentium© III processor with SpeedStep technology for extended portability and reliable mobility, or an AMD K6-2+ processor for increased levels of speed and performance."

"-- The HP Pavilion N3215 notebook PC -- weighs 7.1 pounds and
features AMD's K6-2+ 475MHz processor, 12.1-inch HPA display,
4.8GB hard-disk drive, 32MB memory, preloaded Windows 98, AGP
3-D graphics, and 24X CD-ROM drive for an estimated U.S.
street price of $999(3)."

Woohoo! My educated guess that the K6-2+ in this system wouldn't be 500MHz or higher was right. But I wonder what binsplits are if they are only getting 475MHz on a .18 process...
