Yellen is going to continue to lie to the American people, as she and her predecessors have done for decades. The Fed is the epicenter of corruption in this country. If you believe anything they have to say, I have a bridge to sell you. These are the people who never see any recessions coming, but then claim to know how to cure what ails our economy, typically with money printing and abnormally low interest rates to recapitalize big banks after they've unleashed financial armageddon on the rest of us. They are all prostitutes and fraudsters engaged in wholesale theft from the American people.

We don't have to speculate and listen to others about where deficits come from. Just look at the budgets for the next few years. What do you see? The top 3 items in our budgets are NON-discretionary, meaning the President can't do much about it. But Congress could if they wanted to. Both the GOP and the DNC have presided over the growth of those top 3 items. To whit, the FY'18 Budget:
  1. Health = $1,182B
  2. Pensions (incl. SS) = $1,044B
  3. Defense = $867B
  • Total of Top 3 = $3,093B
  • Total FY'18 Budget = $4,173B
  • Total of Top 3 as %age of Total FY'18 Budget = 74%

The next two items on the list? Welfare = $354B and Interest on the Debt = $310B, both of which represent another 16% of the budget. So Entitlements (Health, Pensions, Welfare), Defense, and Interest represent 90% of the annual budget. What a disaster.

You are correct that tax cuts increase our deficit. However, Entitlement and Defense will continue to grow because NO ONE has the power to stop them from growing and our country continues to get older on average, which drives up Entitlements even further. What is your solution? Keep increasing the taxes to balance the budget? Why not decrease Entitlements and Defense instead? I prefer we do a combination of both, with a heavy leaning towards reducing Entitlement and Defense. I would balance our budget tomorrow by cutting defense by 50% and getting the rest of the money by cutting social security....if I had the power to do it.
