A few weeks ago, Joan posted that ML had said to be only in the highest quality stocks and that they seemed pessimistic. Only a few days later, on Yahoo news release, was an article stating that they had a buy on AOL which was, according to Joan, in their risk portfolio! I am not sure what to make of this except to point out that ML seems not to be very consistant at the moment.

Probably, they have learned the "if by whiskey" speach and begun to use it to generate a trade <grin>.
