I have long felt that the youth of every generation since the 60s has been pissed off that they didn't have something....anything...to protest.

The reality is that you can get just about anybody who is age 18 to 24 to protest just about anything. The responsible thing for the adults in a culture to do is let them spout off aimlessly. That's what kids do.

The irresponsible thing to do is for the adults in a culture to co-opt youthful rebellion to further their own ideologies.
