I don't think they've fired the opening salvo yet. They could start by firing Tenet.

In the present context, that would be very politically dumb. If they got this one behind them, then did it, it's a different story. And what will most likely happen.

But their problem is not with Tenet; it's with the broader intelligence community. My guess is Tenet probably worked overtime trying to mediate this conflict. Perhaps still is.
