Will this be part of their new logo launch (Rock-the-Net)? I wonder if this is still the results of the $20 million spent late last year? It would be nice to incorporate our "new" ad campaign with a new logo launch....Right?

Our new CEO starts Friday (April 7) and the word out in Silicon Valley is that APPLE Computer is looking for a friendly merger partner. Will CEO Schmidt take a sniff? Sun Microsystems is rummored to be talking to Apple again.....

Here is another thought regarding a new business opportunity which could (1) generate new service revenues, (2) complement their current customer-base support services (3) and futher develop their valuable customer-base ............Novel should purchase CompuServe!

Novell could probably get an excellent price at current levels. I believe CompuServe provides the telecommunications services for the fortune 1000 company IntraNet and ExtraNet. There is probably a good overlap of customers. Also, what other service or business could Novell purchase and immediately install their NDS directory technology to futher make it the "defacto" standard.

IMO, this would be a good new service opportunity (for promoting their "Push Technology") if the financials work out and if it is accreative from the get go.
