I doubt AMD gives out percentages. I think AMD fabs the stuff for Vantis in Fab 25. They sell embedded processors, probably from Fab 25. Someone once said chipsets are being fabbed by one of the foundries in Taiwan, not by AMD. I have no clue where they make their networking chips.

If T-Birds AND Spitfires AND Athlons are going to be sold from Fab 25, the % to .18 IS increasing quite a bit.

K6-2 on .25 is 81mm2 and K6-III on .25 is 118m2. I don't know if the drop to .18 is linear, but even if isn't the die sizes go down quite a bit. Also, since the K6-III manufacturing sucked last year, the K6-2+ just may be a K6-III+ with half the cache disabled.

One thing about the new .18 mobile chips is they run on 2.0 volts, the same voltage as the mobile .25 K6-2 475 runs at. This isn't a good sign. But this combined with PowerNow! should be fine for the low-end notebook market.
