Why does a private citizen need anything more than the vast array of rifles & hand guns that were never banned? Too bad you don't seem to understand! For example, I have been a gun-enthusiast and gun-collector for more than 30 years! I have 27 pieces of rifles and shotguns of various calibres and I enjoy very much handloading my own ammo. From time to time, I would take a gun or two apart and reassemble them, sometimes with new gun stocks and so on. Or go target-shooting with them at the shooting range. Man! That's great fun! BTW, what many folks don't seem to understand is that some rifles like the handy Russian AK47 are readily converted into semi- or automatic machinegun-like shooters! So they are prohibited weapons.
