'The friend turned him in' i wonder why the so called friend turned him in... maybe we will get a follow up... what motivated a friend to turn in his buddy over a pocket knife he forgot about?

i do not have a problem with the kid getting suspended. he should have checked his clothes for any items.. He should have put out his school clothes the night before. mom should have checked his clothes... he could have checked pockets before entering the school. He could have gone immediately to teacher or principle and said he had accidently brought in a pocket knife vs having it found in his locker. i wonder if that would have changed ruling?

expect the discipline has been approved by school board along with zero tolerance. Doesn't the parents have the right to send him to a private school vs a discipline school? Based on his outside activities i doubt he would have a problem getting into a private school.
