I'm not sure I believe that story anymore than I believe the one where the Ukrainians deliberately shot it down with fighter planes.. But I won't discount anything until we know what, exactly, was used to shoot it down.. What we DO KNOW is that Putin has a problem.. A seriously BIG problem in Crimea.. The entire peninsula is dependent upon Ukraine for food, gas, water, and electricity. It's the reason that it was originally put under control of the Ukraine Oblast back in 1954 by Kruschev.. So Putin really NEEDS to establish logistical lines of communication with Russia through Eastern Ukraine.. reuters.com Hawk
