yeah well it all comes down to greed and lifestyle.

Does it now? You just stated in your previous post that it all depends upon the destruction of Israel.

Only if Israel is eliminated will there be peace.

So now it's poverty?

Look at Haiti, disadvantaged by location, poverty, bad education and perpetual bad government yet most Americans have more than 2 cars

I'm sorry.. From what I've seen, it's certainly not disadvantaged by location. It's a naturally beautiful place, and the Dominican Republic, while not rich, is far better off than Haiti.

Bad education and perpetual bad government is NOT anyone's fault but that of the Haitian people. And while I'm perfectly willing to help them through this disaster, it's not a hand out, but a hand up.

Btw, my father grew up in a VERY small town in the middle of the Ozarks. Dirt poor with 13 brothers and sisters living in a 2 bedroom house with no indoor plumbing. And this was an experienced shared BY MANY AMERICANS not too many years ago. And many of those people there are STILL poor relative to the rest of this country.

I'm very lucky to have been his son. Every time I return there, I wonder what it would have been like had he not been motivated to "escape" his plight and better himself.
