i love the lies told by the corporate press. banks don't want foreclosed homes to be marked to market when sold - if they are, mark to myth doesn't help them and many of them go bust over night. that's why people have lived mortgage free for 2 years now... 1 in 9 homes is empty, right? i've heard $50 billion/yr in mortgage payments are not being made.
