Q4 2001 CC notes:

1. 7 new customers in the quarter. 2 are Tier1 carriers in the US and 2 are international Tier1 carriers in Europe and Asia.
2. Gross margins were 59% and should continue to stay above 50% in 2002.
3. Restructuring has been completed. Cash burn should be $20million per quarter assuming flat revenue.
4. $165million in cash at the end of 2001.
5. VPN's are the main services that carriers will be focused on in 2002.
6. Trial pipeline remains strong with 56 potential customers. Trials take 3-6mo.
7. Over 50% of product shipped in Q4 was IPSG(Sharc).
8. 30 customers and only 10-14 have been announced to date.
9. COSN equipment is used not only for vpn/security applications but as the edge router as well. - I guess that puts COSN in direct competition with CSCO.
10. IPSG(Sharc) has no competition.
