iPackets Provides Shareholder Update

VANCOUVER, BC, Apr 10, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- iPackets International, Inc. ("iPackets" or the "Company") (PINKSHEETS: IPKL), a developer and provider of wireless communications software and equipment for the mine-safety industry, is pleased to provide the following shareholder update.
iPackets commenced trading on the Over-The-Counter market on March 22, 2007. The Company has retained the services of a management consulting group ("MCG") to advise it on the process of Form 2-11 submission in accordance with Rule 15c2-11. The Company has provided the MCG with a number of documents in relation to Form 2-11.

In the Company's March 14, 2007 press release, it announced that it is fully cooperating with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission"), and it had sent the Commission a number of documents. On March 15, 2007, the Company received additional inquiries from the Commission. The Company has submitted responses addressing the bulk of the inquiries and continues to work on the balance.

The Company has received a copy of the Chinese Joint Venture ("JV") Certificate of Approval, issued by the authorities of the Chinese government. This certificate concludes the establishment of the JV as a separate legal entity operating in the People's Republic of China. Each of the partners in the JV is in the process of delivering his contribution to the JV as stipulated in the JV contract. This means investment dollars from the other two partners, and intellectual property from iPackets' side. The Company is planning a trip to China in May 2007 timeframe.
