I used to count six deck shoes in Europe, but my skills are very rusty. I didn't have to hide what I was doing back then. It was a funny blackjack game. Other people could bet on your hand and cuss you if you busted. One casino did not break open new cards and would use decks until they were too ragged to shuffle. I loved that. "Let's see, I have a 17, but the card at the end of the shoe is that 4 of hearts I spilled my beer on last night." <G>
