I expect the rebound theory to be nursed along quarter by quarter until the year 2029 when the Y2K bug will reappear and actually stop the world from rotating because it doesn't get fixed in time. Put options holders will finally cash in as everything goes dark for 1000 years, and gold finally starts its long awaited bull market but then the markets goes offline and nobody profits from their huge long bets. The end result is the market STILL doesn't come down.
