So, your answer is a simple "YES", which said that people can use IE to download Navigator from the net. So , Navigator is exposed to millions of additional potential consumers as a result of IE being integrated into Window, because consumers can download navigator from net with IE. Which also means IE helps to promote navigator , and help navigator to be exposed to a big potential market, the net users, and the window users. So, what is wrong with Microsoft by integrating IE into window ? Your another argument is "Most users either do not know how to nor do they have the desire to download another browser when their computer already shipped with a functioning browser". Your statement is similar to the following " Most consumers do not know how to drive a car, so they do not have a desire to buy car, or most car users do not like to buy new cars of different models when they are getting used to the model of car they are driving".
First, let me ask you a simple question, pls just answer straight. How did you come to the conclusion that most users do not know how to download softwares from the internet ? Where is your data to back up your statement ? or you just make it up yourself !!!! If you did not make it up yourself, pls offer the source of the data.
Secondly, how did you come to the conclusion that most users do not have the desire to download another browser when their computer already shipped with a functioning browser ? Pls offer the source if you did not make it up by yourself.
Lastly, how many cars you have been driven so far in your life ? Do you always buy the same models when buying new cars ? Before you first sit on a driving seat , you probably did not know how to drive a car, please tell me why you did not give up the idea of driving car ? Pls just answer my questions in straight and simple sentences.
