Mark you make a good point. Look at post #10572. Novell's problem is that according to the Researcher in this article only 12% of users of Novell products intend to use Novell for their intranet technology. This credility gap is what Dr. Schmidt is supposed to provide. If Novell straightens out their PR and Sales departments then you have a perceived turnaround in earnings momentum. But the longer it takes then the further the erosion of Novell's customer base to Microsoft and the less value in price to a potential acquiring company. So Novell is in a risky prediciment as to whether they can stem the loss of their customer base. Your example at work is just one of many unfortunately. Look at the website www.stocksmart.com under Novell. They have Novell trading at a 30% plus discount in price to its industry. Numbers can be juggled in many configurations. Vip
