I2, you go to vote. You punch two candidates by mistake. You go to the poll worker and get another ballot. You're goofy enough to spoil a second ballot. You go back to the poll worker and get a third ballot. You screw that one up too. Sorry, three strikes and you're out. Seems fair enough to me.

PS Did these clowns who punched two holes and left actually think their ballots would be counted?

We had a case like this in Wisconsin a number of years back I recall where in a primary one candidate lost a few votes because of the butterfly ballot. There was no revoting.

Kirk is right--they should have replaced Gore's arrow with a picture of a package of free cigarettes so there would be no confusion here.
