Thurston, frankly this is the best thing that could have happened to the republican party from a membership point of view. It will gain members in droves. There are a lot of good, hard working and honest people in the democrat party who have just been comfortable, maybe a little apathetic, but are now energized to abandon a party of disrepute. I personally know 5 people who have or are going to change their registration from democrat to republican. Extrapolate that nationally and there will be a giant change. It wouldn't surprise me to see Judge Lewis and Judge Sauls change their registration at some point. Just watch and if the person you are watching displays character and honor they are not really a candidate for the democrat party and are excellent candidates for the republican party. The democrats will end up with misfits, blacks and, (even though I don't understand why) Jews, and organized labor. Others will not buy their sorry value system.
