As far as cdma bulidlout in China is concerned, despite the bad news in the AWSJ, I am cautiously optimistic about China. A CDMA network backed by Q is the best economic and technical choice. I think Unicom knows that and will act on it. They are still negotiating with the CDMA players and I expect are using GSM to get lower prices. We shall see as the rubber hits the road. Don't forget that they would likely deploy a 1XRT system which blows away any GSM system and is easier to upgrade to 3G than GSM to WCDMA. HDR seems perfect for China too. So as I said, I remain cautiously optimistic. I am used to FUD about Q, been hearing for the last 6 or so years.
