Jim, re: Motley Fool Obvious stuff. I do think they were wrong about the decision timeframe, probably closer to 2 1/2 years ago when Intel could have been investing in plant. At that time, the earnings were suffering because they had added many employees without the revenue to support the cost. What's the semiconductor market going to be like in February, 2003? Would you like to bet a few $Billion on your guess? It's not an easy business. John
