I would agree with you. I am well aware of S3 windows around material statements as Do quite a bit of 144 collars and s3 hedging for clients. I also see enough of that business to know that faced with a possibility of huge gains, clients purchase more rather than file to sell and they also have to file to do this. While I agree that it is prudent to file 144 intent and the s3 window may be open now(?), I haven't seen too many (my clients anyway) who file if there intent is not to sell immediately. I agree that 1 million seems chump change and I've stated that...but then why use the window at all. I first posted because I did not know the relationship of these sellers to the company. As for Probart, I've got nothing against ranches and wasn't trying to fire a shot across your bow. I'm just expressing a frustration at the lack of meaningful dialog on this thread. Apologies if I miffed you.
