Now here is the deal-------> What does Dell get out of the deal-->

The Jinx Brothers,I like that <vbg>

Now go to the last paragraph,that there is Dell's cash machine.
=======================
..For its part, Dell gets faster access to leading edge technology which could help set its computers apart from competitor's machines ranging from personal computers and laptops to central computers that manage corporate networks.

Despite the deal, Dell can continue to buy from a variety of suppliers but has a strong incentive to give a large chunk of business to IBM.

"Our share of Dell's business should increase as a result," said Dave Ernsberger, vice president of worldwide sales for IBM's technology group.

Computer makers are under intense pressure to shave costs and become more efficient amid a price-cutting war that has hurt even Dell, the fastest-growing maker and the No. 2 manufacturer of PCs behind Compaq Computer Corp.

Dell said the deal will help the company boost its competitiveness in notebook PCs, storage products and servers, which are powerful corporate machines that run networks of PCs.....
