EchoStar Offers Special Price For DISHPlayer EchoStar announced a special introductory offer Friday for its newest satellite receiver, DISHPlayer. The company will offer the new system for $199 - a $300 savings - until the end of September. DISHPlayer, which EchoStar developed with Microsoft and WebTV network, offers television viewers Internet and satellite TV service in one.
