The vast majority of those who opposed the Vietnam War on moral grounds did not support the North Vietnamese. What was questioned during each demonstration against the War was the validity of the dominoe theory....I find it very interesting that most conservatives have no problem viciously criticizing their gov't on domestic and economic issues; but when it comes to being called upon to serve their country in battle, they suspend all criticism and rally behind their gov't as if it is the unquestionable voice of God or Fuhrer. Does Gov't know best and have the best interests of all its citizens uppermost in its minds when it engages in war recklessly? Citizens are not inhumane tools to be used at the expense of Gov't policy makers.
