PeopleSoft, Commerce One in alliance

PLEASANTON, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- PeopleSoft Consulting and
Commerce One on Tuesday said they're teaming up to offer e-commerce
services to trading exchanges doing business over the Internet.
PeopleSoft Consulting,
an arm of business
software maker
PeopleSoft (PSFT:
news, msgs), offers
online procurement
and supplier services,
which enable buyers
and sellers to do
business over the Internet.
Commerce One (CMRC: news, msgs) owns and operates MarketSite, a
trading exchange, and also creates such sites for its clients.
The agreement means Commerce One can tap the expertise of
PeopleSoft's 2,400 consultants worldwide.
Shares of Commerce One were down 7 5/16 to 206 while PeopleSoft
shed 1 3/16 to 20 7/16. |
