Mr. Rusty Johnson,

<<<Then there was the bank's CIO that wasn't even aware that they were running Linux on 150 machines.

Yeah, I REALLY respect these @ssholes. Scott Adams hits the nail on the head.

Talk to your IT professionals. Some day they'll be in charge. >>>

I guess you are missing the point. The article did not say that all companies are installing NT. It said that most of businesses are not installing Linux and not leaning that way. Only a very small percentage of businesses are using or looking at it.

The IT professionals are in charge today.

<<<Actually I wouldn't understand why someone would buy NT over Linux. Linux is undeniably a faster, cheaper, better operating system with better support. I'd go with Linux if I were a CIO. And I'd be a CIO but I don't want to have 3/4 of my brain removed.>>>

I guess that's why you are not a CIO. You just don't understand all the issues. But that's expected when you haven't walked in the CIO's shoes.

Oh, by the way, who do you call for Linux support. 1-800-Lunixwho?

Thank You

JK
