They need to brand. Television spots. Big time spots. Before Intel "fixes" their production problems and before Willy comes out. They have cash now and need to spend it on advertising, or they will be quickly forgotten. People need to REQUEST Athlons, not take them when they can't get PIII's. As much as I'm glad AMD is selling chips - don't forget they're sold out ONLY because Intel can't produce enough to meet the demand. <IMO>

I would agree if AMD weren't sold out for the quarter. With market conditions the way they are, I would spend money on advertising but minimally right now in order mainly to build some brand recognition, and save the big bucks for the bad times.
