Dave,

I forgot you were in advertising. Did not mean to make it seem that advertising is unimportant because I don't think that way. I think it is necessary for AMD to get the word out thru advertising. But right now may not be the most effective time.

However I must admit that I question how much people even get pc advertising. I have friends who live on their pc's and don't have a clue. Since last year, I have been pushing them towards the Athlon. Recently one asked me what 'Intel Inside' meant....as I starting explaining, I could see his eyes glaze over. At the end he asked me what a microprocessor was; now this is a very bright man moving up the corporate ladder very quickly and not all that old....31.

So I think that advertising is important but I think too in this business it will have its limits. Maybe it will be more effective when generation Y or D is of age.

And I apologize for my comments re NTAP....great company and great stock but on a serious downtrend. Was not intentionally trying to be negative. However now may not be the time to buy unless you want to go thru a difficult period with the stock. JMO
