AMD needs to advertise more. I believe you agree with this.

I think AMD, being the Chimpzilla, needs to be smart about advertising. Here is one example of Intel being smart: There is a computer store downtown Manhattan - the financial district, only a few blocks from Wall Street. Intel pumped a lot of advertising money into this store to showcase Intel products. I don't think Intel spent a lot of money on this. If AMD could somehow out-bid Intel, and buy the same exposure, it would be money well spent.

AMD cannot defeat Intel head on. Intel marketing budget may be higher than AMD revenue. Any kind of marketing campaign will have to be a guerilla campaign.
