re: insider selling at Dell -- IMHO, people look at their personal financial situations when selling insider positions. When a person's position gets to the point when they can "retire," they are tempted to take some chips off the table. Anyone who is in the technology industry knows these stocks crash from time-to-time. This drives them to set aside some money so they can buy their dream vacation homes and set aside enough dollars to be comfortable.

Six years ago I knew people at Microsoft who were great believers in the stock, but who periodically sold some of it just so they wouldn't have all their eggs in one basket. A little diversification is a good idea when one is talking about one's personal financial future, even if one gives up some potential reward in doing so. Not everyone wants to rely on a "crap shoot" to be well off; and, to some extent, that's what the market is, especially at relatively high PEs.

Net-net -- don't worry about it.
