Yup, sure are. The funny thing is that my son almost released it before I even saw it. I had stressed that catch and release is the way to go while fishing and that we only kept what we were going to eat. He was fishing by himself from the dock when he caught the bass. He placed it in a basket creel in the lake and came up to the house to ask if bass were good to eat. I told him that I didn't care for bass so he said he would go down and let it go. Having never caught a largemouth before, he didn't have a clue what constitutes a trophy. His fishing experience in England was limited to Carp, perch, and pike but he said that the bass was "pretty nice" and fought "brilliantly". When we went down to the dock and he pulled the creel up I almost had a stroke. I almost couldn't load the film in the camera. It wasn't until after the folks at the bait and tackle shop called the local newspaper that my son started to get an idea of what sort of fish he'd caught. He's now sent copies of the paper to his mates in England and wears a T-shirt that says "Women love me, fish fear me".
As far as your word association, let's see..... Clinton/traitor and liar......Milosevic/mass murderer and liar...........Albright/butt ugly and liar
I don't have any specifics on Albright, but hell, she's a bureaucrat and Clinton appointee so it's pretty much axiomatic.
As far as Mrs. Milosevic, I guess I'd rather have her sit on my face than have to kiss her. |
