Roger: My wishful thinking came TRUE! (See Posting #97 on July 8) NMPS finally redeemed itself by withdrawing the PPO.
I read the entire July 11 withdrawal statement and this announcement is almost word-for-word what I posted on July 8 #97. I am very proud of this call, and it makes me HIGH. Again, this call underscores the superiority of tea leaf reading which allows me to call this event in ADVANCE.
However, technical damage has been done and it will take time to heal. Fundamentally, NMPS looks great. Technically, NMPS looks weak. Roger, I like to remind you that when you place an order to buy/sell NMPS today, you are paying/getting the CURRENT technical price only, and not the FUTURE fundamental price. As a long term investment, NMPS is a superb choice. But for the immediate short term, NMPS needs all kind of help to stay above its 200-days moving average. And its management knows THAT too! By the way, I believe they did a MARGINAL job in promoting their company. I talked to their internal PR folks and their external (Ronald Trahan Associates) PR firm. They were almost to a point of discouraging potential investors. I had extensive experiences with PR work (I worked in the Pacific Stock Exchange for 12 years). NMPS definitely needs improvements in this area. Maybe its management doesn't realize the importance of shareholders' support. I hope that this latest episode DID wake them up with a BANG: THEY CANNOT SHAFT THE SHAREHOLDERS AND GET AWAY WITH IT. Maybe in the near future, Chubb and company will revamp their PR department to position itself to play in the big league.
Best wishes. |
