I know that every oil well becomes an energy sink after you have extracted approximately 85-90% of the oil. This means that it actually takes more energy to recover 1 barrel of oil than that 1 barrel of oil contains in energy.

From what I've read, most wells are pumped past the point that they become energy losers until they become money losers. Can you confirm this from your research Darffot?

When everyone estimates "recoverable" reserves, is this fact taken into account?
