omygawd, we got ourselves a newyawkcity dude on our thread. let us all tug our forelocks in deference. tell me alex, what is the proportion of the city of new york that is currently wired, in comparison to regina? and what is the proportion of the population of new york that is functionally illiterate, in comparison to regina? (and don't omit the south bronx) i dont know nuthin about regina, but i lived in new york for 20 odd years(18 w 70) and made a few bucks there. but i'm not certain we should look to new york for leadership in the area this thread is interested in. the wiring of america is being led by the outback, where cultural revolutions always begin. even in sebastopol, ca, a town so small we'd probably regard regina as a megalopolis. we're just country boys, i guess, and nothing happens until it happens where alex lives. tom |
