wayne, the major problem with the catholic church is management - and they are corrupt to the core. imho, this isn't a small problem. i'm sure that's their talking point to keep you from looking at them and the selfish, evil, sinful decisions they made, and continue to make to this very day!

if you can't see this by now, i do not hold out that anything i will say will change your mind.

just keep in mind when given the choice between...

1. protecting helpless, innocent children.
2. protecting good ole boy child molesters (and their organization from criticism and bad press).

catholic church management almost always chose #2. this went all the way to the top as one guy who is world renowned as a child molester protector, cardinal law, was promoted by the pope.

"Cardinal Law later presided at one of the Pope's funeral masses."

en.wikipedia.org

why did they do this? it is likely b/c the selfishly valued their reputation and organization over children.

they have not repented. mahoney is still covering up. the higher ups are still covering up. they are still protecting the molesters. they have turned cold shoulders, as a management team, to the children.

effectively, every single child molestation that occurred *after* the first one is as if catholic church management, all the way up to the pope, did it themselves.

this is how god views children.

Mt 18:4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Mr 9:36,37 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me."

Mr 9:42 "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.

all i see are cover ups by catholic management all the way up to the top - that continue to this day.

my hope is that one day they will view little children their alleged savior does, but until then, i can give them no credibility as an organization.

many church organizations are like this. they value the organization above the person. the pharisees were like this, too.

although, i'm not convinced the pharisees of jesus' day would allow so much child molestation to knowingly occur under their watch and then spend more time and effort covering it all up than helping the molested children and protecting future catholic molestees.

take a moment and read up regarding how jesus viewed the religious leaders of his day... much of still applied today, imho.
