You mean the governments numbers on $'s spent are wrong... or do you mean that in "quality adjusted" terms it is overstated? I assume the latter, which wouldn't necessarily mean much to your average family since a couple of years more at the end of a life due to medical treatment of late stage disease is meaningless to most of them.
