Dear Gus: Thats a nice succulent (sp?) reply to a lengthy post. Incidentally, what went through my mind, as I read the original post was that old word (Commodity). Seems to me that NAS by its very definition is very subject ultimately to commodity pricing the only differentiation being software. Seems to me any software written once is capable of being written twice if one has the resources to develop it. If I were a NTAP shareholder I would have to have some concerns when two heavyweights like CPQ and EMC PUBLICLY state they are going after that market and EXPECT to envelope it. Not even SUNW has made, to my knowledge, such a brazen statement although its obvious they too have designs on it. JDN
