Dear Paul: You do not need to load Netscape in Mandrake. I know this to be true, I have installed it enough. This was no different in Win98. You could choose to not install some things. Unfortunately, IE is not one of them. Thats one of the things that they got in trouble for. The hardest part of the case was proving Microsoft had a monopoly. Once that happened, many more things Microsoft did are illegal. By the way, I think those limits should be applied much sooner. It would cause less talk of selective application. Pete
