Dave, I had no trouble shorting EQMDE a few days ago using a discount broker.

I wasn't able to scalp anything on the spread, though, and it was a mighty big spread. This factor alone might be reason not to put your money on speculation that the stock will collapse due to delisting, because if nothing happens, you will be out the fat spread. I did it anyway.
