SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov 14, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Spatializer Audio
Laboratories, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SPAZ), a leading supplier of digital and
analog audio solutions, and 4Front Technologies, a leader in digital audio
solutions for Linux and UNIX platforms, announced today the successful launch of
StreamFX(TM) for Linux, a software plug-in for XMMS. XMMS is a cross platform
MP3 and Multimedia player that has become the most popular audio application on
Linux and now comes bundled with all popular Linux distributions, such as Corel
Linux, SuSE, Mandrake, and Red Hat Linux. XMMS is also available for other UNIX
operating systems like FreeBSD, Solaris, AIX, and HPUX.

"We are excited to have teamed up with 4Front Technologies to bring StreamFX to
the growing universe of Linux users," stated Henry R. Mandell, Chairman of the
Board and Chief Executive Officer of Spatializer Audio Laboratories. "The
availability of StreamFX on the Linux platform, tied to XMMS, the de facto MP3
and Multimedia player for the Linux environment, provides a very compelling
audio package for the growing Internet Appliance market. We can now aggressively
market a turn-key enhanced audio solution for these devices, many of which rely
on the Linux OS. This also gives us another product to offer in e-commerce,
which we will be focusing more attention on and refining our approach to in
2001."

StreamFX is one of the "Must-Have" plug-ins for XMMS, making it easier than ever
for Linux users to enjoy a dramatically enhanced audio experience over the
Internet. StreamFX provides rich 3D audio, enhanced bass support and support for
headphone/speaker audio adjustment, adding rich, immersive audio to the already
powerful XMMS player. StreamFX is available immediately and can be purchased
directly from www.opensound.com and in the future from www.Spatializer.com for
the special price of $10.00.

"With the introduction of StreamFX for Linux, XMMS users can now experience the
same Spatializer StreamFX enhancements available for WinAmp and used by global
technology leaders such as Panasonic, Toshiba and Apple Computer" said Dev
Mazumdar, President of 4Front Technologies. "Spatializer's StreamFX is the best
sounding audio enhancement technology I have heard. We will be working closely
with Spatializer Audio Laboratories to bring many more exciting Spatializer
products to the Linux and the Open Sound System platforms. There is a growing
market for Internet Appliances and personal electronics based on Linux and other
Real-Time-Operating-Systems (RTOS) and 4Front Technologies together with
Spatializer Audio Labs will be the leading providers of such technologies which
will greatly enhance audio for the consumer."

About StreamFX

StreamFX 3-D Stereo creates a dramatic and enveloping sound experience out of
any pair of regular speakers or headphones. Spatializer 3D-Stereo is a long-time
favorite of both movie and sound studios in addition to numerous audio product
manufacturers. Push the Space slider higher, and listen as 3D-Stereo widens and
deepens the sound field to surround with audio so rich and ambient, that you'll
feel like you're listening in a concert hall. Simply clicking on the
"Headphones" - button generates the same equally immersive experience over
headphones creating a dramatic 'out-of-head' audio experience.

StreamFX Vi.B.E. produces a dynamic bass response from even the lowest-end
speakers or headphones. Spatializer Vi.B.E uses proprietary technology to
generate realistic bass frequencies that are unaffected by your system response.
Just adjust the slider to your own preference and hear the bass come through
like never before.
