Dan..We could both make a lot of money if agreement were the prime requisite:
#1.. I concur.
#2...You are entirely right, and I couldn't agree more.
#3..Right again..MOTs problems with their CDMA implementation were almost entirely with the software.
To reinforce your final point...I currently DO NOT own QCOM, though I expect to again soon. And I would have to agree as well that it would be best overall for the industry if no single company would have a key patent upon which the other players were dependent. Perhaps that alternative version of CDMA will still come out of some R&D lab to level the playing field..
Have enjoyed the give and take, Dan... I feel just a bit more educated than when we began the discussion...
