In my initial weekend scanning, metal stocks of many varieties continue to look attractive in the coming days. Among them are FCX, PD, AA, AL, and selected gold shares. Many copper stocks have been outperformers over the past few months, betraying a confidence in the economic outlook looking forward despite the great worry expressed by many. The caveat here is that some of these same copper stocks are rallying into potential weekly problem areas, technically speaking. Short-term I'll have alarms set for FCX and AA to break to a new 52-wk highs. Check earnings though (something I haven't gotten to yet). Happy trading.
