Like you I have used and cancelled DBC. I am now using PC Quote. Since it is Internet based, you really need to dedicate a separate land line for it. Changes to portfolios and quote requests come in packets; thus refreshes are slow and not dependable. Although individual stock data does refresh faster once your portfolio has been updated. Truly, it is Mickey Mouse and you get what you pay for. They license their software so don't expect too much in the way of quick fixes. Also, if you sign-up I suggest you use an ISP that does not originate on UUNet. I recently started using ATT's Worldnet and it seems OK for now. Again, Mickey Mouse. Don't pay in advance until you have worked with it for a least one month. Good luck.
