You may be right that it is the 3rd instead of the 2nd, but whichever one, as you said, that says anything, left to itself and with no intelligent intervention, only tends to more disorder, is the one I was thinking of.
You have probably heard the true story, told by Ken Ham or one of the ICR staff, about an evolutionist who told them of his test-tube experiment to brew a necessary protein for life. They pointed out to him that it didn't provide any support for evolution, because there was intelligent intervention to control the experiment. He said there was no intelligent intervention whatsoever. Laughing, they decided to agree with his latter statement.
