No, a halt does not necessarily mean a drop. But I really don't see the news being so terrificly wonderful that the stock had to be halted on the upside. It was indeed halted. Therefore, my guess is that the stock was heading south. And a stock has really got to be tanking big time before it is halted (usually). Tomorrow will be here soon enough.
