Diana/Maurice - How big was the charge for BCE Mobility? The comments of John that Maurice referred to suggests that companies adopt GSM (the known quantity) and then have flexibility to switch over to CDMA later if it works out. If John wants to include this option then he should include a probability of this cost in his initial evaluation of CDMA/GSM. W
hat is the switching cost? Only new infrastructure? Should one include the cost to the customer base of having to buy new CDMA phones after just buying GSM phones (if they want those low prices and good features offered by CDMA). It would seem that this might change John's business model. What do you think?
