Alex, you ALMOST lost me with that fruit salad stuff! Then I read it all again and understood that the Fiat could be a lemon or a cherry, and that by really checking it out first, I will make the right decision. Duh!!! Your writing is particularly nice this week, and I'm enjoying reading it all. You've been quite prolific! I remember pregnancy as a very creative time--lots of growth in every way (mostly straight out front)! I found the nesting instinct in late pregnancy particularly amazing--I felt like a chirpy silly bird with energy to spare, building an actual nest, constructed mostly of huge, brightly-colored plastic items, all around me. Of course, I looked more like a beached whale! Since you cannot actually carry the baby, perhaps your nice writing is a reflection of all that energy around you. If I cannot afford a hard top and a rollbar, a helmet would actually be amusing. Braids it is!!!
