Yahoo! Confirms Plans For 5 P.M. EST Press Release 07 Mar 13:33 NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Yahoo! Inc. (YHOO) will issue a press release at 5 p.m. EST Wednesday and hold a conference call at 5:15 p.m., a company spokeswoman confirmed. The spokeswoman declined to comment on the nature of the release. Yahoo! shares remained halted in Nasdaq trading. They last traded at $21.94 before being halted at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday. The shares were halted after Merrill Lynch & Co. said Yahoo! had canceled a Thursday presentation at Merrill's Internet conference here, which begins Wednesday afternoon.
